Power Lines and AC units are extremely excessive, visually and physically disruptive and remain a temporary solution to power distribution. We have progressed past this technology but it still hangs around in our environments as temporary and obsolete solutions to cooling and power.
Using Bernoulli’s formula, I facilitated an array of studies to optimize multiple forms in creating a passively cooled market in the Pan American Park. Amidst a heat island and food desert, this market serves to offer city scale cooling while serving as an affordable market platform for independent sellers. Technology continues to become obsolete as we continue to replenish and reinvent but this market is meant to age with its landscape and is a solution that does not have to be replenished, charged or replaced.
